Summary:
Officer Jesse D. Moorman was chasing a burglar on foot near Sandy Lane in east Fort Worth. The burglar led Officer Moorman through a field where Officer Moorman suffered a heart attack and collapsed. Air One, the police helicopter, made the scene and transported him to the hospital where he later died. The burglar was eventually captured.
